What Causes Heart Fluttering With Cold, Fever And Cough?
I have had a bad cold for the past week with a low grade temperature, chesty cough that is worse when I lay down. I went to the doc on Tuesday and was given some antibiotics. Now my heart is fluttering. Since I have had atrial fibulation in the past, I am really worried about this.
Probably he gave some bronchodilator which may lead to palpitations. Decongestant medication also causes palpitations. Avoid cool drinks and freeze water.
Use water vapour inhalation and salt water gargling thrice a day for five days. Decrease the dose of bronchodilators and continue antibiotics.
If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
