What Causes Headache And Fever After Having Ibuprofen?

my 11 yr old daughter is experiencing a servere headach accompanied by a low grade fever and nausea. I took her to a walk in clinic and they gave her ibuprofen and a pill that desolves on her tongue for her nausea. We woke up this morning she was fine, now it's 6 o'clock and she has the fever again and a servere headache. the headache is so servere she says she cannot open her eyes. Should I rush her to the ER or wait to see if this passes as it may be a virus.

Hi,
Thanks for asking.
Based on your query, my opinion is as follows.
1. Appears to be viral fever.
2. Give her paracetamol during fever to reduce. Give it as necessary, up to 4 times a day.
3. Keep her well hydrated and if temperature crossed 103 and is not coming down, you take her to ER.
Hope it helps.
Any further queries, happy to help again.
