What Causes Frequent Liquid Bowel Movement, Stomach Growling But Not Feeling Hungry?

I haven't had a solid bowel movement in 3 days. I do however, have to visit the toilet every 1/2 hour but I only pass pure liquid. My stomach is constantly growling but I don't feel hungry. I have had food poisoning before and it never lasted this long. Should I be seeing a doctor or can food poisoning last more than a day or so....no vomiting but I felt nauseous the first day.

Hi, thanks for using healthcare magic

Gastroenteritis can be associated with abdominal discomfort, nausea, vomiting or diarrhoea. It is possible to some or all of these symptoms.

It can be due to bacterial or viral infection though viral infection is more common.
Gastroenteritis can last a varied amount of time from 1 day to up to a week or more in some persons.

Treatment involves the use of fluids to prevent dehydration. In addition to this, you can consider using probiotics to speed up resolution of the symptoms.
These can be used on their own or in foods such as yogurt.

I hope this helps
