What Causes Fever, Abdomen Pain And Mild Headache?
Hi my symptoms started on thursday last week when i felt dizzy and headache. It then turned into a fever with chills. Friday Morning my stomach began hurting and I started a period of diarrhoea which has seen me go to the toilet around 3 times a day on average with loose watery orange coloured deposit. My stomach hurts across the top of the amdomem area and now its shifted down towards the bottom. My most recent visit to the bathroom showed small black stools (around 5-6). My fever has gone but still have a tension headache and mild stomach pain. What do you recommend?
Fever, abdominal pain and diarrhoea together usually occur in a disease called gastroenteritis or in simple terms infection of the intestine. It mainly requires antibiotics for treatment. But in your case, passage of black stool isn't normal and it require further investigations to rule out any bleeding in the upper intestine. So if you have blackish stool, you should definitely consult your local doctor for further valuations.
