I just had a baby who was still born on Thursday. My breasts are severely engorged and extremely painful. I have tried everything that I know but its not helping (ie- cold compresses, snug bra, ibuprofen, norco, even cabbage leaves) I was told not to express any milk because it will just cause more milk production but I am hurting so bad and milk is leaking out some anyways. Wondering what I should do... I do not have a fever or flu like symptoms but worry about getting mastitis.
