What Causes Dry Skin Patches On Both Sides Of Labia Majora?

I am a lady (15) and I have a worry for my 'nether regions.' I usually take good care of it, but now it seems to have dry skin patches on both sides of my labia majora. The right side is much more sensitive than the right, and sometimes sheds skin flakes (which I think to be normal). There is normal discharge, white and no particular smell. I wear pads on my panties, but only to keep the sensitive parts from rubbing against the seams. I use these pads every time I get my period and in between, I never had any sort of reaction to them. I was looking up possible reasons this could be happening (yeast infection, thrush, HIV/AIDS (I am still a virgin), these kind of things), and I couldnt find any that really described what I have going on. I'd be very grateful if one of you nice folks could try and explain this or pin an answer to it. ~Liz

Hi,

Thanks for posting the query,

These could be simple wart infection caused by hpv 6 &11.
These can be treated with antiviral treatment.
And there is possibility of its recurrence if not treated.
Patient should take hpv vaccine to prevent complication before marraige.

Take care!
