What Causes Dry Blood In Nose And Breathing Problems?

My 2yr old daughter has been waking up with dry blood in her nose as if she had a nosebleed. I never catch her bleeding though. And when she sleeps it seems as if she can never breath right. Im not sure if this is ok or if I should worry and take her in.

There could be several reasons for seeing dry blood in her nose. It could be a small nosebleed, for which the commonest cause is nose-picking in older children, and bleeding from the small veins in the front part of the nose in smaller kids, for no apparent reason.

The sleep difficulty may also be related to the above problem. Both together may be due to a sinus problem affecting the maxillary sinuses. She will need to be seen by her ENT specialist as early as possible.
