What Causes Diarrhea During Compression Fracture?

I wreaked a 4wheeler last oct. and had a compression fracture, it healed, but now sometime when I am shopping or walking I get diarrehea and it is very hard to stop. I was just wondering if that could be related to the compression fracture of the L4 L5

Noted the history and understood the concerns.
Uncontrollable diarrhea can be due to one of the following reasons:
Fracture at L4-L5 can cause incontinence as there may be associated upper lumbar area problems and can be diagnosed by the MRI and clinical examination, per-rectal examination to know the sphincter tone and anal manometry.
It can be due to severe procto-colitis and can be diagnosed by stool tests and colonoscopy.
Hence you should get an opinion of a Neurosurgeon and General Surgeon to get a proper diagnosis and have proper investigations to support diagnosis and have proper management. Get admitted for on-going observation, proper diagnosis and management.
If there is an infection, a course of an antibiotic, metronidazole can cure your problem.
