What Causes Delay In Periods?
hello, im 19 years old i was pregnant four months ago and had an abortion my last period was april 10th. im eight days late with tender nipples, throwing up feeling sick and lower back pain with head aches and runny noses but im getting negative tests. Whats going on?

Your symptoms are suggestive of pregnancy. However, pregnancy is never diagnosed only on symptoms. It needs confirmation.
Pregnancy test on urine may report false negative if done too early; i.e. within first week after missed period. Now you have got following options:
1. Wait for four more days and repeat pregnancy test on the overnight first morning urine sample.
2. Opt for Beta hCG test which is highly sensitive. It gives reliable results even few days before the missed period.
