What Causes Delay In Menstruation Other Than Pregnancy?

I was taking the birth control Gildess 1/20 and I never missed a pill and took them all on time. Started taking it end of June. After month 1 I had a regular period when I was supposed to. During the 2nd month I had sex on August 14 and he pulled out way before anything could come out. I have not had sex since this day. Then at the end of the 2nd month on the exact day my period(29-30th of each month) starts I had a very dark brown/black period and it had clots that were normal period blood looking. It was enough for me to have to use pads so I m pretty sure it was my period. The third month which is September I took the first four days of my third pack then decided I didn t want to continue taking them and made an appointment to switch brands with my gyno. I didn t have any bleeding this month but my breast are tender on the outside not the nipple. My gyno said this was normal to not have a period after discontinuing use and the type of period I had the 2nd month was also normal. So I know I m not pregnant but why would I still have not gotten my period?

Understand your concern
You should confirm the pregnancy by Blood HCG or by USG.
Causes of delayed period may be
High level of stress, Change in dietary habits, Late ovulation, Excessive weight loss/gain, Drugs: Birth control pills, thyroid medication, Excessive tea and caffeine, Thyroid disorder, Hormonal imbalance, PCOS, dysfunctional uterine bleeding

Do regular walking and exercise, Eat healthy diet, Avoid stress

Also note that
Menstruation required co ordinate action of various hormone that secreted by ovary (estrogen and progesterone) and brain (FSH and LH).
If any above hormone is decreased or increased there is imbalance in menstruation.
So please do full hormonal profile : Estrogen, progestron, LH, FSH, HCG and thyroid hormone.
That help to diagnose hormonal imbalance.
Endometrial biopsy, USG, ovarian follicle study.
After confirmation you can take treatment according So please go ahead.
