What Causes Cramps, Tiredness, Dizziness And Sickness While Planning For Pregnancy?

Hi there, Me and my partner want to have a baby so I stopped taking the Birth Control Pill last year and the first week of this month I had my last fake period. Since then i've had unprotected sex with my partner three times. Last week i experienced some cramps, feeling tired, dizzy and sick. I took a test and it was negative but yesterday I started bleeding a very dark red blood. Its not been a full week since my fake period is this normal?, I am bleeding a lot and having very bad pains do you have any suggestions ? thank you for your time

Hi,

I think it is a side effect of oral contraceptives. It may take a few months to regain your normal cycles. In the meantime, you can try some blood stopping agents from your doctor.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Khushboo Priya
