Hi, I am 30 yrs and have 2 children ( 9 & 7 ). 2 weeks ago, I had my period that slowly became heavier, 3-4 days ago, it started getting dark (almost black) clots. I have no pain, although, prior to getting these clots, I was experiencing a needle like pain on my left abdomen, that was piercing for a minute and went away. I found out I had polycystic ovaries after having my 2 child in 2007. shortly after, I had implanon for a span of 6 yrs. In 2013, I had it out and decided to try contraceptive pills - where I failed as I was poor at keeping track of it. I found out the other day that I m pregnant and have normal urine as well as a HCG of 2700? I am still bleeding however it is much lighter now, this is the 15 th day I have my period, the large clots have eased up but notice tiny black clots as well and it is bright red ? Can you please shed some light on what this could be? I have an ultrasound booked on Monday any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks SImone
