I had a copper IUD put in back in April. I had constant bleeding and sever paid for a month so I went and had it removed. About a week ago I went to the local health department after moving to get birth control and they did the routine pap smear and pelvic exam. They also gave me the plan b one step pill. i've been hurting really bad ever since and was just informed yesterday that my pap smear came back abnormal and I have an appointment to get a coloscopy and biopsy done in a couple weeks. Could the IUD have caused all these problems? And what could be causing so much pain?
