What Causes Chest Pains?
It feels like someone keeps squeezing or even trying to seemingly tickle my heart, but it's a very unpleasant feeling. However, both my mother and I have had chest pains since our early teenage years, but I'm only 18. Is this a serious problem I need to be concerned about?

According to your complain you here might have simple muscular pain...
It may be by unaccoustemed situation or improper sleep posture or heavy object lifting.
Since you are giving long term history of chest pain do ECG or echo just to rule out cardiac causes...
If needed chest x ray done after your physical examination ....
If eyelid dropping present myesthenia ruled out....
Here also rule out myositis like condition...
