What Causes Chest Pain With Indigestion?

hai! this is arthi suresh from bahrain.my native is tanjore. i have a doubt. my husband is suffering from undigestion problem and also for past three days he is suffering from chest pain. when i ask him he said that i quited smoking. sudden stop may cause this pain. please clarify whether it is a heart problem or somehing else?

I can understand your concern.
Since he was a smoker, we should first rule out heart diseases for his chest pain.
So get done ecg and 2d echo.
If both these are normal then no need to worry for heart diseases.
He is also having indigestion. So gastritis can be the cause for his chest pain and indigestion because gastritis is more common in smokers.
So tell him to avoid hot and spicy food, junk food.
Take pantoprazole and levosulperide combination on empty stomach twice daily.
Don't worry, he will be alright with all these.
