What Causes Canker Sore In The Mouth Along With Sore Throat And Ear Pain?
I have been taking dilantin for 8 months due to an injury and will be taken off it at the end of the month. I have reoccuring cancher sore in my mouth on my tongue, a sore throat that comes and goes and ear ache that comes and goes, especially when I talk a lot. my doctor does not seem to care. should I?

Noted your history of recurrent cancer sores, pain in throat and ear pains.
The commonest causes I can think about are as follows:
Reduced immunity causing all the three problems thus herpes simplex appearing as cancer.
Recurrent throat infection is due to exposure to community and thus you have to identify the people and area to keep away from.
sores in mouth and tongue can be due to aphthous ulcers and usually related to stress, anxiety, colitis, IBS and so on.
Detailed clinical evaluation, investigations and proper management can help you to come out of this.
Do Povidone Iodine gargles 2 times a day.
Sips of water orally frequently as these help for the self cleaning of mouth.
Further complete management as per the causes found.
