I experience vaginal burning and pain "down there" off and on during my ovulation phase. Does this mean I will be getting my period very soon? I am 40 years old now, and my periods have become irregular (too close together and now no period since the last one began on Dec. 28, 2010ended on Jan. 4). 2 pelvic ultrasounds indicated functional ovarian cysts (the second one indicated these cysts on both ovaries).
