Hi,I am Dr. Andrew Rynne (Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi I am a 69 year old woman in good health. In Nov. i had my annual physical and bloodwork. Everything in my labs were perfect except for my platelet count which was 121. The previous year it was 140 and Nov 2011 it was 151. Also I bruise very easily. Should I be worried ? by the way I do not take any medications not even aspirin. I do take a lot of vitamin supplements and fish oil.
