It is painful in my back and hip area when straightening up after bending down. This has been getting progressively worse for at least a month. I have no difficulty walking, running or doing moderate exercises and in fact these activities seem to alleviate any pain temporarily (an hour or so). I also feel better for a few hours after rising from a night s sleep. What could be the cause and what can I do to ease or eliminate it?
I have been seeing neurologist for several years. Had nerve in legs, peripheral neuropothy, treated with gauminex infusions. Muscles in legs, thighs and calves have spasims even at rest and this year have been diagnozed with stiff person syndrome. Just within last month started baclofen 10M tablets split take l/2 pill 4 times daily to test. Has helped especially with sleep, muscles were going out aany time I turned. I noticed after a month that my osteoarthritis seems to be getting active (have it in my spine) since taking bacloffen. It seems the pill helps the muscles but now my lower back/hips and sometime side of r leg gets very achy. Is this the consequence of the baclofen. Dr. wants me to increase these pills to a whole pill 2/day. Fear how bad my osteo arthritius us going to flare up. What is common ground here.

I m a 38 year old female diagnosed 2 years ago with spondylosis in my neck and back (C4,5,and 6 and L3,4,5 and moving to 6). I walk 6 or 7 days a week but would really like to do some jogging and do a 5k. Is jogging okay with this diagnosis? I really don t want to cause myself more harm later.
I am 55 and have depression and anxiety symptoms. Also had a spinal fusion C5/6 last Feb for spondylosis. Was referred to PT for treatment to relive remaining numbness but he suggested seeing neurologist. Saw a neurologist who was dismissive of my problems which are trouble swallowing, poor hand/eye coordination, severe constipation and autonomic nervous system symptoms of tachycardia and excessive sweating. Collapsed in street a few weeks ago and had glucose level in blood of 3.1- banged back of skull but was not concussed although had momentary loss of consciousness. I have a feeling that I could have Parkinsons disease- 2 odd facts being a sudden craving for bananas, which I hated before and starting to smoke for first time-I have read that these 2 things raise Dopamine levels. Have MRI booked for 5/4 but understand that PD doesn t show up on them. From these details, what do you think?
