Hi,

The possible causes of backache and hip pain during the second half of the cycle are:
- Pelvic infection
- Endometriosis
- Adenomyosis, fibroids
- Adhesions in pelvis, etc.

Early stage of these conditions may not be detected in regular investigations. Your Husband's seminal parameters are normal. The measures that can help you are:
- Clinical examination along with pap smear and vaginal swab for culture and sensitivity to rule out pelvic infection.
- If pain is severe and not subsiding with regular analgesics, going for an MRI or diagnostic laparoscopy to find out the possible cause of the problem and planning the treatment accordingly.
- Investigations like antral follicle count and hysterosalpingogram to find out the status of the ovaries and fallopian tubes.
- Going for ovulation induction and planning, unprotected intercourse around the time of ovulation will increase the chances of pregnancy.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Sree Gouri S. R., OBGYN
