What Causes An Intermittent Fever With Cough, Cold And Skin Rash?
i am suneetha and my husband is suffering fever 2 days before at night 3:30 he got fever i gave ceco plus tablet (acelofenac100mg+paracetomol 500mg).exactly after 1 hour he got relief.Again next day afternoon he got the fever again i gave the same tablet. he was alright.now the next day he got cough,cold ,fever,and skin rash except at the leg region.

The symptoms as mentioned in your post can be attributed to either Viral exanthem or Rickettsial fever.
Symptomatic management involves:
1. Analgesic anti-pyretic agents like Paracetamol.
2. Anti biotics like Doxycycline preparations (to be taken only under the guidance of your Physician).
3. Anti histamines & anti-tussive preparations for cold & cough.
4. Application of Calamine lotion for symptomatic relief of rashes.
5. Maintain adequate hydration & proper nutrition status.
If there is no relief even after 02 days, he needs to get certain investigations like complete blood count, urine examination, peripheral smear for malaria, Dengue check, blood culture & Weil felix test.
These investigations will be helpful in detecting the pathological cause & formulating further plan of management.
