What Causes Absence Of Periods?

Hi I have a question - I have been taking the pill for about 6-7 years. My husband and I are now ready to have children. I stopped taking the pill in November 2011. I had two normal periods (Dec. and the first week of January). I haven't had my period since, and am getting worried. I'm living in Germany and have been to my OBGYN. She took blood tests in March and checked the hormone levels, as well as had 3 ultrasounds to check my ovaries. The hormone levels seem to be fine, including the thyroid checks (she mentioned the testosterone levels are fine, and the first couple ultrasounds showed some cysts on my ovaries). However, the last appointment I had with her (about 3 weeks ago), she told me the ultrasound still showed that i should be getting my period soon (which she said the last two times too). I'm worried that there may be something else wrong and I'm not sure what kind of doctor to go to or what I should check (e.g. for cancer, PCOS, etc.). Could you help in letting me know if you have heard this case, what kind of things should i check/look for, and what kind of doctor to go to? She mentioned that I could also go to a fertility clinic, but I'm not sure if that's the solution. I want to be sure to find the cause of it.
