What Causes Abdominal Pain And Vomiting?

Hi my son has been to the er several times and once admitted for testing and they have no answers for me his wbc have been over 20 he has had a cat scan with dye and no appendix sightings he doubles over in pain and pukes. they have done an ultrasound and found inflammation of lyphnoids meaning infection. he has been checked for colitis and chrones. but no one seems to have answer to why this is happening.

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history that your son has severe pain in abdomen, has to double up, the WBC count is 20,000 and the CT scan has shown lymphoid inflammation.
There can be primary inflammation of the mesenteric lymph nodes or secondary to some pathology.
In children the pharyngitis or tonsillitis infection goes into intestines and thereby to the lymph nodes.
Please go for a broad based antibiotic and anti-inflammatory medications and see the result.
Occasionally FNAC or biopsy may be needed.
