What Causes Abdominal Pain And Blood In Stool?

Blood in stool - Since couple of days i experience severe pain in lower abdomen and an urge to fecate. But when i try to fecate, only few droplets of it comes and they are in color of blood mixed with saliva. It causes much pain in the lower abdomen and after thrusting for a while i am able to fecate only droplets.I do not find any swelling in anus. Could you please help me out in what could be the reason and a possible solution? Thanks

Hello,

this can be due to inflammatory bowel disease, any growth in the colon and it may also be due to ulceration in GIT.

It needs to be taken seriously and address it as soon as possible. I suggest you report to the emergency room, you may be required for endoscopy, ultrasound.

Once the cause is identified, it can be addressed accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
