OB and GYN Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

Abdominal pain after C -Section may be caused by the stitches on the wound which is very common post surgery and secondly altered bowel movements.

The internal wound may take almost 4-5 months to heal properly and sometimes causes pain, can be mild to moderate.

If you are suffering from constipation or altered bowel movements then I suggest you take fiber-rich diet and laxative (liquid loose 15 ml bedtime) if you have constipation.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Naira Jahangir , OB and GYN Specialis
