My 60 year old, 6ft, 180 pounds, husband has had this happen three times. He eats a light meal, gets stomach pains, and then the pain goes to the middle part of his back. First time this happened, he got hives all over his body afterward the pain went away from his back. He said the back pain was so intense that it was hard to breathe. He is very 'doctor phobic' and very reluctant to have this checked out. He had a tree fall on his back several years ago - he didn't see a doctor, just nursed him here at home, and this is where the pain is now. He is under tremendous stress daily due to finances, taxes, businesses.
