What Causes A Vaginal Bleeding After Taking MDMA?

Hi I had vaginal bleeding after taking MDMA in very small quantity, I have never taken any kind of drugs and this was my very first time, also I started taking contraceptic pills for the first time during my last periods which was around 10 days back but stopped after a week.. Can the bleeding be a result of that?

Hi

Yes,the vaginal bleeding is more likely to be a withdrawal bleeding after stopping the contraceptive pills.Do not worry.

The bleeding will stop in a few days.In case of heavy bleeding/clots /severe cramps more than seven days, you may require anti-fibrinolytic drugs to control bleeding. You may have to visit your gynaecologist. Avoid use of drugs like MDMA.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards
