What Can Be The Reason For Stomach Growling?

Hi. I am a 33 year old male, and weigh 72kgs. My stomach makes loud rumbling and squishing noises that are quite embarrassing. I don't experience any pain or discomfort, just weird noises and movement within my tummy. What is wrong... I suspect I have some kind of intestinal worm.

Hello,

It is the peristalsis wave and that some time gives such rumbling sound and it may be due to hunger too. It may be due to hyperperistalsis in rare condition it may be due to Giardiasis also. I would suggest to have single dose of Secnidazole else it is nothing to worry.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Akhtarhusain
