What Can Be Done For Dizziness,RBC Drop,WBC And Platellets Out Of Range And Short Of Breath While Climbing Steps?

Hi doctor, I am short of breath even going up the flight of stairs at home. Feeling dizzy, red blood cells continuing to drop. White blood cells and platelets are out of range. Blood pressure drops, stop my medication for bp. Please help. Thanks, Mary

Dear Mary,

Thanks for the query. It seems that you have significant symptomatic anemia, from a cause I cant elucidate from the query, but is probably the main issue that has to be addressed as it is limiting your capacity to carry oxygen with exercise. A Hematologist should look for a specific diagnosis and treatment; if your hemoglobin normalizes, probably your exercise capacity would improve as well.
