What Are The Signs Of Hyperthyroidism?

What can cause your thyroid to be sore? I do have several nodules in my thyroid that were biopsied and said to be normal (non-cancerous), but I have been battling a cold/allergies for the past few weeks, as well as getting nose bleeds more often that usual and minor headaches. Can these symptoms all be related?

Hi
Good day
Soreness in thyroid could be due to an infection like thyroiditis. Since you had flu like illness for past few weeks, thyroiditis is a possibility. The virus which caused cold would have attacked thyroid as well. In thyroiditis, tthere can be hyperthyroidism temporarily.

Hyperthyroidism presents with symptoms like weight loss, palpitations, tremors in hands, anxiety etc. Blood tests will show a low TSH and rise in Free T4
