General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Zyprexia is an antipsychotic medicine known to cause dizziness, drowsiness, abnormal movements, hyperkinetic muscle activity, muscle rigidity, and abnormal gait. There is nothing to worry as the drowsiness is temporary and reversible. However, if he develops abnormal movements he should be seen by the doctor. Give him plenty of oral fluids.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Mohammed Taher Ali, General & Family Physician
