What Are The Side Effects Of Taking Pause?

Good Day Dr.

I am 42 year mother of 2 child and both are cesarean and having heaving bleeding for the last 4 years, on the 2nd day of my periods i will have heavy flow and my periods will be there for 5 days..Dr. adviced me to take pause mf. How long should i take this tablet and any side efforts in taking this tablet

Hi.Thanks for writing on HCM.
Pause MF contains Mefenamic acid + Tranexamic acid, and is usually given to help control heavy bleeding, like during periods associated cramping. This is generally safe and you may use the tablet as advised after having food.This is known to cause minimal side effects such as nausea and drowsiness.Hope this answers your question.
