What Are The Side Effects Of Novelon Pills?

Hi, I am 29 years old married women with no kids and I used Novelon Pill for 1 year. I recently stopped it for a couple of months as my doc suggested that it is good to give it a break and then start the pill again. My periods flow was normal till then 4-5 days. But now after the break and restarting the pills again, the flow has come down to 2 -3 days or so. I wanted to know if this is normal or should I stop taking the pill as it is reducing my periods flow and we were planning to have kids some time next year, so I was wondering if this low blood flow will cause any problems.
