I noticed I became increasingly anxious and irritable, and I asked my gyno if I could switch to another pill. She switched me to Loestrin24E. I wanted to skip my period, so I started the Loestrin immediately after my last week of OTC without taking placebo pills. The first week on Loestrin, however, has been a total emotional nightmare. I cry at without provocation and get very angry and irritated over nothing. I stopped taking the pills last night and today has been a total nightmare - I can barely find the willpower to get out of bed. Could this be a possible side effect of the Loestrin, or did I mess with my hormones by starting a new pill so hastily?
