I have been taking Junel FE 1.5/30 for almost a year. Prior to that, I had been on a different formulation of birth control made by the same company. On both pills, the worked fine for a few months and then my period would start on the third week of pills instead of the fourth. The first time it happened, I called my gynecologist and she switched me to the current brand. When it started happening again, she told me to continue taking it until my annual appointment. She always seems hesitant to switch brands and I'm beginning to wonder if she gets a kick back from the company. Regardless, what my question to you is, why is this happening? Is the pill not strong enough or is it too strong? I'd like to be somewhat knowledgeable when I go for my appointment. Thanks!
