What Are The Reasons For Joint And Bone Pain And High Esr Levels?
I developed a fever Friday before last. I was ill all weekend and I went to my doctor on Monday. I thought I had the flu as I had severe joint pain in addition to the fever. She ordered blood work and called me last Wednesday. My ESR was 98 and CRP 64. She had me come back in for additional blood work. She said the fever would not have caused such high numbers, and wants me to go to a rheumatologist this Monday. My fever is gone but I still have the joint and bone pain, and these high numbers have me concerned.
