What Are The Long Term Side Effects Of Novstat 10 And Olmat-h?

Hi Doctor, I am 32 yrs male. In my latest blood test it was found that my LDL is 130. Doctor has advised me to take novstat 10 mg daily. i am also hypertensive and having Olmat-h 20mg daily. Please let me know what are the long term side effects for these medicine.

Novstat 10 mg contains rosuvastatin which belongs to the class of medication known as statins is used to lower cholesterol and to reduce the risk of heart disease. Long term side effects of Novstat are hemorrhagic stroke, arthralgia, diarrhoea, nasopharyngitis, urinary tract infection, insomnia, limb pain, muscle spasm, musculoskeletal pain, myalgia, nausea, liver damage, DM, dementia, cognitive impairment etc.

Olmat-H 20 mg contains both hydrochlorothiazide and olmesartan Medoxomil which is used to control high blood pressure in different ways. If high blood pressure is not treated, it can lead to heart attacks, strokes and kidney failure. Long term side effects of Olmat -H 20 mg are tachycardia, hypertension, eczema, dermatitis, alopecia, sinusitis, gastritis, pancreatitis, hematuria, renal failure, impotence, interstitial nephritis, aplastic anemia, hemolytic anemia, neutropenia, leukopenia, hepatic function impairment, hyperuricemia, hypertriglyceridemia, bronchitis, cough, arthritis, sciatica etc.
