What Are The Ill Effects Of Drug Abuse?

Yes , I was urine tested for pre-employment and I tested positive for Amphetamine and Methamphetamine.I had been in the ER the previous night very ill .I was given antibiotics Prednisone Inhalers and a breathing treatment,I am also on Effexior Prozac ,synthroid and have been taking as much otc meds as possible to relieve my symptomsMY test results now prevent me from employment.Please explain ho w the dru gs I have taken produced a false positive result

Oh yeah....well... yes and no.
No, if you say you aren't on amphetamine, then you aren't. BUT the asthma medicines are pretty much amphetamine and WILL show up on the simple screening tests. A better confirmatory test probably will show it is a slightly different drug, but I cannot totally guarantee that. ALBUTEROL is pretty closely related.
