What Are The Harmful Effects Of Frequent Falls In A Child?

What are the effects if my child (18 months) fell and hit the head several times? After she's 9 months up to 18 months now, she had fallen or hit things on her head for several times...i guess more than 7 times. Her behaviour seems normal after fell. Are there any effects on her growth? effects now and later when she's an adult?

Hi..if she is normal till now, you need not worry at all. I understand your concern. First be reassured that your kid is normal. I will suggest you danger signs of head injury -
1. Vomiting continuously
2. Seizures
3. Watery of bloody discharge from ears and nose
4. Unconsciousness
5. Altered sensorium or behaviour.
If none of them are present, I don't think you should worry about his trivial head injury. For pain you can give oral Paracetamol in the dose of 15mg/kg/dose every 4-6th hourly.
