What Are The Chronic Lumps On My Tonsils?

I'm a 51 year old female. Woke with sore,inflamed tonsils 4 days after giving oral sex for the first time in my life. 3 months later partner has warts on his penis. Tonsils sore again in 5 mos.The left tonsil looks like 2 lumps and I have bumps on the back of my throat. Both tonsils looked the same back then. 7 mos after the o.s.,I tested clean for std's. Pap smear test was negative. Have not been tested for hpv. I've had this lumpy tonsil for 18 months now. My throat below the left tonsil stays sore for a couple wks. now. Could this be tonsil cancer?

As your history suggest that the tonsil involvement have been since 18months and that is a long time suggesting a chronic cause. However now the throat is also sore.

Regarding your sore throat, it might be a cause of the inflammed tonsils. Tonsils possess the property of defence system against any problem in oral cavity and a problem in it renders the throat more prone to infections.

Now coming to the Tonsil inflammation, I would suggest you to see a Specialist in order to rule out the chances of Tumor.
