My boyfriend of 4 months just told me he has hsv type 2. I have not had any ob. However I have had a rash that itched really bad but I thought it was from razor burn . No sores. What are my chances of getting hsv or already having it. It s been about a little over a month since our last unprotected sexual encounter and we have since the. Been using condoms .

Hi hsv 2can be contracted in 1in 100 cases of unprotected sexual intercourse.but rash all over the body cannot be feature of hsv 2 infection.it can occur only if ur natural immunity is low.hsv 2 can be tested by hsv 2 igG or igM antibodies.even if it is contracted do not worry it is treatable condition
