Hi !
Thank you for your query.

Since you have not mentioned that you were bitten by a wild or a pet cat , i presume it to be a wild cat . Since the vaccination status of cat is not known i advise you to visit a physician and get yourself tetanus and anti rabies vaccination as early as possible . If it was a pet cat observe the animal for 10 days for rabies signs. You should not delay your visit to the doctor , till then you can do local care of wound and take antibiotics prescribed by your family doctor.

If you have any further queries feel free to ask.
Wish you good health.
Take care.

Hello,

The cat marks cauisng bleed may be a potential for the spread of rabies infection. The rabies can be transmitted by the cats if they are not vaccinated by the antirabies vaccine.

You should consult the doctor and have the antirabies shot done such as verorab or rabipur.
The local wound should be cleaned with antiseptic solution and be left open just like we do in dog bite cases.

Thank you
