Under Follicular Study, Showed Endometrium Size, Follicle Count. Given Outrig Injection. Does Injection Rupture Eggs?

Hi
I am under a follicular study. My fourth count was 17x17 & 18x19 and the endometrium size was 9mm..after which i was given Ovutrig injection after two days my follicle count went to 18x18 & 21x22 and endo size is 9mm. What does the injection do? Is it for ruputuring the eggs? Will i get pregnant with this follicle count??

Hi,
Thanks for consulting us.
Yes, your follicle size is very good for potential ovulation. Ovutrig injections are given to induce ovulation ( rupture of follicles). This only guarantees that ovulation is very likely to occur.
Pregnancy requires fertilization & implantation of the egg into the womb. This cannot be predicted.
Wish you best of luck.
Take care.
