my father s ( AGE 69) USG shows prostatomegaly,epididimal cysts ,thickning of bladder and orchitis almost after 25 days post opp Lt hydrocele . and there is mild gapping at the opprated site .present history mild pulsating pain and ozzing at opp site since 4 days.sometimes night frequency 5-6 times and day 6-8 no difficulty in voiding no pain .Is this sign of post opp complication or something elses
hi, you have 2 problems. I think the operative wound of lt hydrocele has got infected and hence its oozing and there is a gaping in wound. Consult your surgeon to make sure that if infection is limited to the wound or is there any infection inside the scrotum. Secondly your enlarged prostate is the cause for frequent urination. Enlarged prostate can cause difficulty in passing urine, poor stream or intermittency or it may present with complaints of frequency(both day and night time) and urgency. Visit a urologist for complete evaluation.
