Trace Of Blood Found In Urine. CT Clear, Cystology Not Done. Chances Of Test Being Positive?

I am a 61 yr old female. They have seen trace blood in my urine for the last few years. My PCP sent me to a urologist and she did a CT and cystology. The CT was clear and I will have a scope in August. They called and said they didn't get enough urine for the cystology and needed more. They had told me before that the cystology was to see if there was any cancer cells. I don't think they needed more urine. I think they needed to double check. I know of other cases where the blood or urine test was positive and to be for sure and to test again, they told people the same thing. Please, can you be of any help? It's very scary, but I would rather know for sure if what I think may be true. Thank you in advance for any help you could give me.
