Took Postinor After Sex And Had Alcohol. Not Had Periods. Should I Be Worried?

Hi Doc,
Am Anita, I had sex between early hours of saturday and took postinor2 on sunday night @ about 7:30pm Nigerian time. And I had 2 bottles of alchohol. Ever since I've bn so worried bcos I haven't seen my period yet. Pls help me here!

Hi, Thanks for using HCM.

As your periods are delayed, get tested for pregnancy. blood HCG test or urine pregnancy test 10 days after missed periods is useful.
2nd dose should be taken with 12 hour diffrence from 1st dose.
Emergency contraceptives like Postinor-2 are not for use as a regular method of contraception because of the increased possibility of failure compared to other methods of contraception
After taking Postinor-2, you should use another method of contraception (condoms or cap plus spermicide), or not to have sex until your next period.
