Took Contraceptive After Periods, Has Periods Again In 10 Days. Confused And Worried
i had a period on 30th march and then i took one contraceptive pill and started a new period on the 10th april which lasted 5 days and wasnt heavy and was light. should i count my next period from the second period i have or from my original period? as if i calculated my next period from the 30th march period i should of been due on the 29th april and i have missed it.
This is more likely if the bleeding that occurred on the 30 th of March was at the time you expected your period to start.
If , according to this time frame, you have missed your period then you may want to consider a pregnancy test. This can be done via a urine sample or blood test.
You may want to use an early detection kit that can pick up low levels of HCG.
If the test is negative, you can wait to see if the period comes .
If it does not you may want to visit your doctor for an evaluation. In most cases it is not due to any significant condition.
I hope this helps
