Tenderness, On And Off Extreme Sharp Pain In Right Shoulder Blade, Numbness And Tingling Ams And Fingers. No Help From Painkillers. Torn Muscle?

Recently went for a bike ride with my daughter and upon returning my right shoulder blade felt tender and as the day progressed it began hurting. I thought I had just overdid it. The pain has progressed and has moved from lower part of shoulder blade to the upper. The pain comes and goes with flair ups of extremely sharp pain. My arm has a numbness and my hand and fingers are numb and tingle. It hurts to sneeze or cough. I have been taking 4 aleve at a time just to take the edge off of the pain nothing controls the pain. Could I have pinched a nerve or maybe tore something?

From your i understood that you are suffering from repetitive strain injury (RSI).
It is a musculo skeletal and nervous system injury.
It is due to the following factors,
Repetitive tasks,
Awkward positions,
Vibration- cause for your numbness and tingling
Mechanical compression of soft tissues

Nerve conduction study may helpful in identifying the level of compression of nerve.
NSAIDS like diclofenac and ibuprofen are helpful in relieving pain.
Maintaining correct posture and frequent breaks while driving can be helpful in preventing RSI.
