Teenager. Why Is Medicine Bactrium And Keflex Used For?

my daughter is sick. she is 18 so i am not givin all the info needed to help her. . i took her to the er and they ran some tests and even ccalled her a day later she wont tell me what they said. but i did pick up some medicine at walgreens for her. one was bactrium and one was keflex. what or why would she need both at the same time

Both of the medications that you mentioned are antibiotics. They are used to treat different types of infections including urinary tract infections, ear infections, skin infections, infections involving the upper respiratory tract.

It would be difficult to say,in the absence of any symptoms listed to say what they are using it for.

It is unusual to use two antibiotics for the infections listed.

Two types of antibiotics are sometimes used for other types of infections than those these medications are recommended for.
