Taking Clomid For PCOS Related Infertility. Any Effect On Body With Increased Dose Of Clomid?
Hi i am having PCOS and having trouble to concieve i m already on clomid 50mg but nothing worked out,now doctor prescribed me 100 mg clomid and if even this doent work she said she will give me 150mg clomid...but i want to straight way take 150 mg of clomid...will this have any effects on my boday

Clomid basically acts as ovulation inducing agent. Dose of clomid needs to be increased depending on response. Higher dose should not be given as it can result in hyper stimulation of ovary resulting in internal rupture and hemorrhage. So now better you take 100mg and go for follicular study, If this does not work then dose can be increased in subsequent cycle with the help of your doctor.
